The material you choose for your garden furniture depends on what you want to achieve and how much you are willing to pay.
The Cheapest Material
The cheapest variety is white plastic furniture, however this isn’t very durable or comfy, and looks a bit unsightly in the garden.
The Average Material Used
The next cheapest is hardwood, which tends to be average in price while looking fairly elegant. However this won’t withstand the elements and so can be expensive over the long run.
The Best of Both
The next best choice is composite wood-effect or Winwood, which looks and feels like wood but requires no maintenance. This is made from compressed plastics which even gives it a natural wood feel.
The Most Modern Material
Then the modern choice of material is rattan (by Majestique), which is best when it’s UV stabilised and comes with an aluminium frame. This makes the rattan weatherproof, ideal for the patio, and comes in a range of dining sets, bistro sets, and sofa sets, and reclining rattan chair sets.
